Locate Your Bookings Report
To locate your Bookings Report, click on Billing at the top of your screen, and click on the Bookings Report sub-tab. On this page, you can view all of your Bookings Reports.
Select Bookings Report
To access your report in detail, select the Report Name (October 2024). In the detailed report, you can view a summary showing the amount of Sojern driven bookings staying during the month, the revenue generated for your property, and the commission. As you reconcile your Bookings Report, the bottom row of the table will show the updated figures based on your reconciliation details. On the right side of the summary, you can submit your report any time between the 3rd and the 8th of the month.
Locate Confirmation Numbers
To reconcile a booking, you will need to find the booking in your Property Management System (PMS) or Central Reservation System (CRS). Usually this can be completed by copying the confirmation number from the list, and pasting that number into the relevant field in your system. By hovering over the “Copy” icon, you can easily copy the number to your clipboard.
Confirming or Editing Bookings
If the customer has stayed at your property according to the original booking terms (actualized stay) you simply need to confirm your commission for that booking. To do so, please select the ellipsis icon on the far right and select Reconcile.
If the booking terms have changed from the original booking, you must add the changes to the booking in your Sojern account. You can do so by selecting the confirmation number and choosing a reconciliation reason in the booking details pane.
Note: For some reconciliation reasons, the reconciled revenue and new commission will automatically adjust to 0. Other reconciliation reasons may need manual adjustments. To learn about our default reconciliation reasons, please view our article Reconciliation Reason Codes.
Finalizing Your Bookings Report
When you have finished reviewing bookings, there are multiple ways to submit the Bookings Report and let Sojern know you are done for the month. These options are available only between the 3rd and 8th of each month. Please view our article on How to Complete Reconciliation.
