If your contract includes fractional attribution for certain channels and attribution models (such as Display / View), this will be reflected in your Bookings Report to ensure accurate billing.
To view fractional attribution data:
- Go to Billing >> Bookings reports
- Select the report you wish to view
In the bookings table, refer to the following columns:
- Attribution: indicates the attribution model used to assign the booking to Sojern - for example, View or Click.
- Total Revenue: the full value of the booking. This column will show either the original booking value or the reconciled booking value, depending on whether changes were made during reconciliation.
- Attribution Rate: the rate (as defined in your contract) used to calculate attributable revenue for a specific channel and attribution model (for example, Display / View).
- Attributable Revenue: Calculated by multiplying Total Revenue by the Attribution Rate. This is the revenue used for billing purposes.
- Commission: shows the commission amount based on the Attributable Revenue.
Similar information is available when downloading the bookings report. If the original booking value is unchanged, refer to the following columns:
- Revenue: the original booking value
- Attributable revenue: Attributable revenue calculated from the original booking value
- Commission: commission calculated from the attributable revenue
If the original booking value was adjusted during reconciliation, refer to these columns:
- Recon Revenue: the reconciled booking value
- Recon Attributable revenue: Attributable revenue based on the reconciled booking value
- Recon Commission: commission calculated from the reconciled attributable revenue
Please note that attributable revenue is used exclusively for billing. In other areas of your account, such as the Dashboard and Commission Campaign Summary, we always display the full booking value (original or reconciled, as applicable).
